From the Principal
 June 2008
Dear Meadow Pond Families:
It is hard to imagine that there are only a few weeks remaining in
the 2007-2008 school year. Our children enjoyed many interesting
activities and have learned a great deal about themselves and each
other intellectually, emotionally and socially.
I am sure that you will smile as you reflect on some of the school
wide events we shared, such as the Welcome Back Picnic, Harvest and
Soup Day, the Book Fair, the Halloween Event, Community Day,
Candace Flemings visit, P.A.R.P., Planting Day, and the Garden
Party, just to name a few.
In addition, we had many grade level celebrations including Native
American Day in Kindergarten, Stone Soup in Grade 1, Biographies in
Grade 2, Share Day in Grade 3, the Revolutionary War Encampment in
Grade 4, and the Spectacular in Grade 5. More than any particular
activity, it is important to note that we have all worked together
as a school community to insure that all our children learn and
grow each year in a safe, welcoming environment. More...Carolann Castellano
